BIO:
Starfleet. Former Commander of the Starship Al-Batani and father of
Tom Paris. Captain Kathryn Janeway served under Owen Paris on the Al-Batani
as a science officer. He took it very hard when his son was cashiered
from Starfleet and later arrested as a member of the Maquis. He is a
firm believer in the Prime Directive. Owen was also a instructor at
Starfleet Academy when his son attended and to avoid any hint of
favoritism he gave Tom a B- in the survival course. He sent a letter to
Tom in the Delta Quadrant through the Hirogen relay system. Spoke to
Voyager, where he told Tom that he was proud of him. Works with the
Pathfinder project- this project was sent up to bring Voyager home.
