Vulcan Ensign who performs several minor Engineering tasks under the
direction of B'Elanna Torres. Surprises Torres by reserving the exact
lake-side table at the luau party on the Holodeck, for two, she had
mentioned once in passing. Proposes marriage to B'Elanna Torres by Kunat
So'lik, 'the desire to become one's mate'. When Torres denies him troth
he attempts to control the urges of Pon Farr by meditation and a sexual
mate created by the Doctor. Eventually overcome by his urge, he
sabotages Voyager, beams down to Sakarian planet to mate with Torres and
is defeated by her in Kunat Kaliphee, the 'marriage or challenge'. Has a
busy, honourable day: works on the ruptured coolant injector; works on
Seven of Nine's transwarp modifications; collects thorium isotopes;
works on Seven of Nine's design of a thorium isotope manufacturing unit
and works with Nicoletti on restoration of Impulse power. Referred to in
conversation between Torres and Paris. Paris interrupted them in
the middle of an EPS recalibration. Works on power problems during
ship's time in Grey Mode. Learns some vernacular: "Keep our
cool", from Paris. Works on the new shuttle, the Delta Flyer, where
Torres first orders him to stop making so much noise, then orders him
