Culture from the Delta Quadrant. They have a life span of nine years.
They communicate telepathically. There civilization was nearly destroyed
1000 years ago by intergalactic explorers. The Caretaker looked after
them to repay the debt. He died in 2371 but left them enough energy to
sustain them for 5 years.
